The customer cancelled the order an hour before delivery. Transferring the risk and the cost to the customer, we believe, will not be a great business idea.
As a young business once ability to do business highly depends on the ability to take risks. If customers place an order, they are free to cancel it. Of course, there are ways to put a check on and minimize them. Some businesses do it by transferring part of their risk to customers through their policies. At Tech-AD India Network Solutions (Tech-AD), we choose to minimize risk at the customer’s end. That is one of the ways we can win customer loyalty. At this point, in Tech-AD’s journey, as it will ever be, is one of the important values we hope to establish. The challenge is to do this sustainably.

We are not a start-up with huge (or any) fund backing but a partnership firm running it on a shoestring. Such setbacks affect us but often good relations rescue us. What the partners at Tech-AD have cultivated over the years is a solid relationship with distributors and other service providers based on integrity. In these situations, this pays off.
The distributor agreed to take back the laptop even after billing.
