Tech-AD India Network Solutions recently conducted a comprehensive on-site network infrastructure assessment for a commercial office space in Delhi-NCR. The site visit covered end-to-end planning for structured cabling, network rack installation, workstation connectivity across all office zones, and CCTV surveillance layout — ensuring a robust and future-ready IT backbone for the client.

Key Findings & Planning Highlights
Entry Area & 15U Rack
A 15U network rack is planned at the entry point of the office, serving as the central distribution hub for all patch and network cabling across the floor. The reception desk receives 2 dedicated network points for front-desk operations.
Cabin 1 & Cabin 2 — 12 Points Each
Both enclosed cabin areas are provisioned with 12 network drops each, supporting a full 12-seat configuration. Cabin 1 includes a dedicated uplink connection to the main office. Cabin 2 zone includes 2 extra nodes for the adjacent area.
Main Hall — Bulk Workstation Cabling
The majority of network drops (~42) are distributed across the main hall. Standard workstation tables receive 4 network points each, while smaller workstations are provisioned with 3 points — keeping cabling lean, practical, and scalable.
False Ceiling & Existing Channels
The office has a false ceiling with pre-existing cable channels from a prior installation. All new cabling will be routed through these existing channels, significantly reducing civil work and keeping installation clean and cost-effective.
CCTV Surveillance — 6 Cameras
Six CCTV cameras are planned across the premises. Exact camera placement and cable routing will be finalised in a dedicated discussion session, ensuring optimal coverage of all critical zones including entry, cabins, main hall, and exit points.
