Execution

On the day of the execution, we were at Advant IT Park located in Sector 142, Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The site was equidistant from our two offices located in Ghaziabad and Delhi (Kalkaji). We had to move both men and equipment from both locations to complete the job.
On the first day, a two-person team was sent to install cables. However, the work could not begin as planned due to Advant IT Park’s policies for work permits. The permit was granted almost an hour after our team had arrived. The work involved pulling a few Cat6 cables through the false ceiling from the new office to the old office. These cables had to be connected to the Access Points and Switches across both offices. Once the work began, there were no major issues, and both team members were able to coordinate seamlessly. Although the work was completed an hour later than planned due to the delay in the beginning.

There was a one-day gap between the first day and the next. This day was used to procure the rest of the devices needed, such as IP PBX SYSTEMS, SLT8 Cards, and VOCODER64.
On the second day of the project, the team on site increased to four members. Two of us focused on the installation and configuration of the IP PBX while the other two continued with the remaining cabling work. We had completed a significant part of the IP PBX installation the previous day at our office, including the installation of SLT8 cards and VOCODER64, and ensured that they were functioning properly. We were able to do this because the client trusted us, even though some clients prefer all parts to be unboxed on-site. We understand and comply with all client policies.

Although most of the work was completed by lunchtime, we understand that no project is complete until it has been thoroughly tested and retested.
You will notice that the time taken for execution was much less than the time it took for quoting and approval. Procurement also took just one day. This was due to our excellent client relations and the trust they had in us. We were fortunate that approval came quickly, as it can sometimes take weeks, even though actual execution only takes a couple of days. We have been working with this client since the setup of their last office, and we have been responsible for setting up their entire intranet.
Handover

We thoroughly tested our work and ensured it met all the client’s requirements. Now, it was time to hand over the work and make sure the client was satisfied. This process can be challenging, especially when dealing with multiple stakeholders who have different needs and interests. However, we were able to meet each of their requirements and the client confirmed that all the deliverables had been met. We explained how we had configured the network with respective extension numbers, but the client requested some changes to be made. We made the necessary changes and explained how the extensions could be easily reassigned if needed in the future. By the end of the day, we left a happy client.
